Free Pattern Friday: Bubble Seal Amigurumi

Happy Friday! Have a seal (thank you Pokemon for making me doubt how a four letter word is spelled).

A little guy that I whipped up quick. I’m not used to making small amigurumi so this was good practice for me. I called him a bubble seal because he’s the shape of a bubble. Truly I am the best at naming things. Also I updated the Free Pattern Friday banner a bit. No biggie.

Final piece should measure about 2″ tall.

Materials

  • DK weight yarn in white, blue, black, pink
  • B hook (2.25mm)
  • 6 mm safety eyes
  • Stuffing
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle

Assembly

  • Use black yarn to embroider a nose and mouth onto the face patch
  • Sew the face patch onto the front of the body
  • Use pink yarn to embroider blush marks onto the front of the body
  • Sew the flippers on either side of the body
  • Sew the tail fins onto the back of the body
