A 4″ tall amigurumi of a cactus bunny…topiary…plant thing.
In my quest of scouring the internet for cute things to crochet I found a picture of this thing. So I made it. Woo.
With this I was playing around with working in the posts, so you might need to google working in the back posts with single crochet if you’re not familiar with it. I like the effect it gives and I’ve used it in a revamp of my Cookie Mouse amigurumi that may or may not be posted soon.
Also I’ve added a page for the master key so check that out up top if you forget what something means (underlines perhaps?).
Materials
▪ DK weight yarn in green, cream, white, pink, dark grey
▪ C hook (2.75 mm)

Medium-Easy – You should know how to work in the round, increase, decrease, half double crochet, puff stitch, work in the front and back loops, and work in the back posts.

Assembly
▪ Sew the face patch onto the head
▪ Use dark grey yarn to embroider a mouth onto the patch
▪ Use pink yarn to embroider blush marks on either side of the eyes
▪ Sew the ears on either side of the head
▪ Sew the flower in front of an ear
▪ Use white yarn to embroider an “x” onto the flower
▪ Sew the head onto the top of the pot
▪ Sew the arms onto the top of the pot
