Free Pattern Friday: Minnie Mouse Amigurumi

SAM_2787More pictures and a downloadable PDF of the pattern are available on Ravelry.

Heeey, apologies for the lack of patterns this month, but here’s a fancy one for FREE because I like not being sued by Disney. Also, in an attempt to have a more reliable schedule, I’ve decided Free Pattern Friday will be every other week. Regular patterns will be posted whenever they’re finished, as per usual. I’m also considering making “Mystery Pattern Monday” a thing where you have to figure out what you’re crocheting as you go. This is mainly an excuse for me not to take pictures but shhhhh.

Onto the actual pattern for this week. Outside of The Lion King I’m not a Disney person at all (if I’m honest Mickey and Minnie look a bit creepy to me); this was just made as a gift. There’s no Mickey pattern yet, but I’ll probably tweak this a bit and make it an upcoming Free Pattern Friday. The pattern itself is pretty straight-forward, there’s just a lot of pieces and a lot of sewing (my fingers hurt).

Final piece should measure about 6″ tall.

Pattern: Bunny Plant Amigurumi

SAM_2699Potted bunny yay

I made a similar pattern for Free Pattern Friday ages ago, but I wanted a bigger and cleaner looking one so here we are. I also added a few cute little details and stuff. Just a heads up that you’ll be working around the posts for the pot, so make sure you know how to do that.

The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy.

I don’t really know which pattern is coming next. I’ve got a few written down that I need to remake to take pictures. I’m also debating making both Pikachu and Eevee amigurumi in anticipation of the possible new Pokemon games maybe. Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Free Pattern Friday: Mini Slime Amigurumi

SAM_2743More pictures and a downloadable PDF of the pattern are available on Ravelry.

The slime is happy it’s Friday, are you?

I’ve never played a Dragon Quest game before because it’s not really my thing, but Dragon Quest Builders was awesome and had me glued to my switch for about 2 weeks. It was great for me because while I love Minecraft, I prefer to have clear goals that I need to accomplish. Can’t wait for the second one!

In honor of beating the game, I decided to crochet the derpiest looking creature ever. I called this one a mini slime because I just finished a larger version of a slime that I’m not sure what I’m going to do with just yet.

There should be a regular pattern coming sometime this weekend. It’s cute. :3

Final piece should measure about 3″ tall.

Free Pattern Friday: Onigiri Amigurumi

SAM_2709More pictures and a downloadable PDF of the pattern are available on Ravelry.

Didn’t I just do this? This week went by super fast. Anywho, this was an exercise in working with different shapes. Let me know if you have any questions because it is a bit unusual. It was actually pretty fun trying to figure out how to make it work. I’ve never actually had onigiri but I definitely want to try it sometime.

Also, sorry for two white patterns back-to-back. If anyone has trouble seeing it properly let me know and I’ll tinker with the picture.

Final piece should measure about 2″ tall.

Free Pattern Friday: Bubble Seal Amigurumi

SAM_2690SAM_2692

More pictures and a downloadable PDF of the pattern are available on Ravelry.

Happy Friday! Have a seal (thank you Pokemon for making me doubt how a four letter word is spelled).

A little guy that I whipped up quick. I’m not used to making small amigurumi so this was good practice for me. I called him a bubble seal because he’s the shape of a bubble. Truly I am the best at naming things. Also I updated the Free Pattern Friday banner a bit. No biggie.

Final piece should measure about 2″ tall.

Pattern Update: Chubbachu Amigurumi

SAM_2582SAM_2585This is just a little update to my Chubbachu pattern. I fixed it up with the new pattern template and made a couple small changes. The main one being that I merged the stripes into the body rather than making them separate pieces to sew on. I’ve also changed it to be worked from the bottom-up instead of top-down. Plus the mouth is now brown instead of black and he has a nose to smell that sweet, sweet ketchup. I think that’s it.

The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy.

Free pattern tomorrow!
